About the Customer
The customer is a global enterprise software company providing solutions for managing, automating and modernizing complex IT environments. Its technologies support some of the world’s largest organizations in improving the reliability, efficiency and performance of their IT operations.
What began as a four-person DevOps engagement evolved into a multi-disciplinary engineering partnership. TT PSC now supports the customer across cloud modernization, DevOps, mainframe development and product trial innovation. The cooperation gives the customer access to scalable engineering capacity, specialized technical expertise and new ways to accelerate product development and adoption.
Project Background
The collaboration began in January 2024, when four TT PSC DevOps engineers joined the customer’s R&D organization. Their initial role was to strengthen the development of a cloud-based enterprise software platform and support its ongoing modernization.
As the cooperation progressed, TT PSC took responsibility for a broader range of engineering activities. The partnership expanded into three areas: Cloud and DevOps Engineering, Mainframe Expertise and Product Trial Innovation.
Today, 10 TT PSC engineers work across two dedicated DevOps teams, supported by TT PSC team leaders. The wider cooperation also includes specialized mainframe and front-end development expertise.
1. Cloud and DevOps Engineering
Challenge
The customer needed additional engineering capacity to modernize selected components of its cloud-based platform, improve operational efficiency and accelerate the delivery of new software capabilities.
Solution
TT PSC engineers became part of the customer’s R&D organization and supported the modernization of its SaaS platform. Their work included migrating selected components to AWS-native services and developing a data analytics solution that enables the customer to process and use historical operational data more effectively.
Business Impact
The cooperation strengthened the customer’s ability to modernize and develop its platform while maintaining operational continuity. Improved automation and data management reduced manual effort, while the integrated delivery model supported faster software releases and continuous improvements to platform stability and performance.
2. Mainframe Engineering Expertise
Challenge
The customer needed experienced mainframe assembly engineers to support the continued development of its enterprise software. However, access to these specialized and increasingly scarce competencies was limited. Ensuring long-term team stability was equally important
Solution
TT PSC built a dedicated recruitment and engagement model to provide the customer with access to qualified mainframe specialists. The approach combined local recruitment in Poland with international talent sourcing and flexible, long-term cooperation models designed to support knowledge retention and team continuity.
Business Impact
The customer gained access to scarce mainframe expertise without having to rely solely on its internal recruitment capacity. The cooperation also created a more stable and sustainable model for maintaining the competencies required to develop and support its mainframe technologies.
3. Product Trial Innovation
Challenge
Evaluating complex enterprise software traditionally required the customer to prepare a dedicated demonstration environment for each prospect. This process involved additional infrastructure, technical support and preparation time, creating a barrier to fast and scalable product evaluation.
Solution
TT PSC developed a browser-based product trial platform that allows prospects to explore realistic product workflows without provisioning separate servers, agents or databases. The platform uses a configuration-driven approach, enabling the customer’s teams to add new industry-specific demonstration scenarios without modifying the application code.
Business Impact
The new platform enables a faster and more scalable product trial experience. Prospects can explore key capabilities without waiting for a dedicated technical environment, while the customer’s Sales and Product teams can independently create new demonstration scenarios for different industries and use cases.
Business Results
The cooperation gives the customer a flexible way to expand its engineering capacity, access specialized competencies and introduce improvements across both product development and customer experience.
Key results include:
- Growth from an initial four-person engagement to two dedicated DevOps teams with 10 TT PSC engineers.
- Continued modernization of cloud-based platform components using AWS-native services.
- Access to scarce mainframe engineering expertise through a stable, long-term cooperation model.
- Reduced manual effort through improved automation and operational data management.
- A browser-based, self-service product trial experience requiring no separately provisioned demonstration environment.
- The ability for Sales and Product teams to add new trial scenarios without modifying the application code.
By combining scalable engineering teams, specialized technical expertise and product-focused innovation, TT PSC has become a long-term technology partner supporting both the continued development of the customer’s software and the way its products are presented to the market.
