_Increased production efficiency with integrated PLM system for agricultural machinery manufacturer SaMASZ

Summary

SaMASZ is a Polish manufacturer of high-end agricultural machinery, which in its 40 years of operation, has grown to become one of the industry leaders, with operations in more than 70 countries. It manufactures specialized equipment, including mowers, tedders, rakes and municipal machines for summer and winter road maintenance. To meet the ambitious plans of the Polish entrepreneur, who wants to expand into foreign markets, TT PSC realized the implementation of the PLM Windchill system. Despite limited time, we successfully unified the company’s project infrastructure and closed the existing solutions in one standardized system. As part of the implementation, we also migrated historical data and provided training to SaMASZ employees so that they could confidently embark on further iterations and extensions of the company’s digital thread.

Challenges

• Unify and move from scattered, minor systems to a cohesive Windchill ecosystem.
• Very short time to implement the system – the entire work and the stage of cooperation so far, was closed in 6. months.
• Detailed implementation of the company’s employees in the new system exclusively in Polish. The client wanted all implementation materials, instructions and employee training to be in the native language and based on SaMASZ production data.
• Migration of historical data from as far back as 10 years ago.
• Integration with SolidEdge, a CAD system.
