Under its brand, the company develops high-speed diesel and gas engines, battery and hydrogen systems, as well as complete power and propulsion solutions – for ships, heavy land and rail vehicles, industrial applications, defense, and critical power supply. With this portfolio, Power Systems is actively driving the energy transition within the group. In 2025, the division generated revenue of €5.72 billion. 

The Starting Point: The Challenge 

In 2024, Rolls-Royce Power Systems faced the challenge of modernizing its engineering IT landscape. Partially siloed data flows were slowing innovation cycles, hindering cross-functional collaboration, and reducing responsiveness to market demands. 

The Solution: Partnership with TT PSC 

As a strategic partner, Transition Technologies PSC (TT PSC) brought deep expertise in PLM and IIoT systems and, together with Rolls-Royce Power Systems, implemented agile methodologies on platforms such as PTC Windchill and ThingWorx Navigate.

  • ThingWorx Navigate app development: User-friendly applications providing intuitive, role-based access to engineering data.
