Project Background

Transition Technologies PSC collaborated with an esteemed international luxury goods holding company to enhance attribute management within Windchill WT Part soft types. The goal was to create a customized solution for efficient attribute display on create/update views, catering to diverse organizational needs.

1. Varying attribute needs across the organization made displaying all attributes in Windchill Parts redundant, requiring extra effort for changes.

On the foundation of a robust Vue.js app seamlessly integrated into Windchill, TT PSC has crafted a user interface tailored to the specific needs of our clients. Our solution included:

• Implementing an interface allowing easy navigation through attribute settings and providing end users with control over attribute visibility
• Integrating a Java framework into the system to ensure robust handling of data, seamlessly storing and retrieving user-entered information
• Implementing a filtering function within Windchill’s wizards to intelligently conceal attributes based on organization-specific data, ensuring a customized user experience.
• enhancing adaptability by facilitating users in exporting attribute configurations in CSV, enabling seamless modifications to meet specific requirements
