Issue Links Viewer is an application which has been created to make it easier for Jira software users to browse tasks and their correlation in a project or between projects. This extra allows for displaying clear graphs which present relations between issues. It’s a great simplification for those who organize data and information in a form of graphic representation and acquire knowledge visually.

A basic function of Issue Links Viewer is
grouping tasks
created in Jira so that they create
graphs resembling mind maps
Links between particular tasks are arrows pointing direction of a relation; each of them is signed according to interaction which happens between issues; the links can be of different types (link types).
A user can see information in a graph such as:
- key (identification number) of a task
- icon which reflects a type of task
- priority and its status.
Additionally, they can turn on displaying short description of a task (summary), as well as change the graph’s look, using hierarchical or fluid layout, changing its shape. Issue Links Viewer enables simple task organization (drag&drop) with the view being turned on.

The application creates “global graphs”
Functionality “global graph” displays all links between tasks from JQL search. It’s a very flexible solution which makes it possible to see relationships e.g. from one project, or get a wider perspective displaying relationships spreading over a few projects.
